What is the Buncombe County Rescue Squad?

The Buncombe County Rescue Squad is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 1962 to provide EMS and Rescue Services for our fellow citizens who find themselves life-threatening situations.

The Rescue Squad is not a county agency and receives very little funding from the county. Our operational income relies primarily on our ambulance service and from fundraisers and donations.

What is the Dynamite Roasting Company?

The Dynamite Roasting Company is a local business located in Black Mountain. Two former band mates, Andy Gibbon and Josh Gibbs, decided they should provide the Asheville area with truly delicious, locally roasted, organic coffee.

They work hard at finding the highest quality sustainable beans from around the world and their old-school, small-batch roaster is fired up every day to ensure that their coffee is at its peak flavor when it reaches your cup.

In addition, Josh Gibbs also volunteers for the Buncombe County Rescue Squad and is the EMS Bike Team and Rehab Team Sergeant
