Step 2 – Pick Up and Onboard Experience
Our team of trained medical professionals will arrive promptly to your specified pickup location, assist you in boarding the ambulance, and provide medical support to your destination. Onboard, you will enjoy a comfortable experience with friendly, professional staff monitoring your well-being and maintaining a safe ride.

Step 3 – Drop Off
Once we arrive at your destination, we will assist in exiting the ambulance and transferring care to medical staff at your destination if needed. We’ll also have some final paperwork to handle before departing.

Buncombe County Rescue Squad regularly hires basic EMTs as part of its community-building efforts in supporting the local emergency medical services system. Whether you’re looking for occasional/part-time opportunities or a full-time entry-level role as a basic EMT, BCRS is the place to start! As part of our staff, you’ll also enjoy state-sponsored advanced training as you progress in your journey to advanced EMT or paramedic.
